We had a great stay, loved watching the Swallows swooping in/out your barn – scooty and sweep are darlings and your orchard and river field with all that goes on in there, so handy to have on your doorstep. Cottage, cake and eggs was lovely!

Great to have two such lovely cottages for our New Year break – a really good base to explore the surrounding area. So nice to find such tastefully decorated and comfortable cottages and the Christmas tree and mince pies were an added bonus! We really feel like we’ve really has a taste of the wilds of Northumberland. Thanks for the warm welcome and local recommendations.

Northumberlands been great, great scenery, great food, great shopping. Cottage is really nice & cosy especially with the fire burning. We will miss giving Scooty & Sweep their daily quota of apples and carrots. We nicknamed them the made pair. We had a lovely time and hope to be back again.
